Networked Insights collects consumer information from social media and other sources as described in this Privacy Notice. We aggregate that data and make it available to third parties to be used for various marketing applications. The purpose of this is to improve our clients’ marketing and customer relationship programs.
Because information is critical to our business, privacy and security are fundamental design requirements in our services and business. The purpose of this Privacy Notice is to help clients, partners and consumers understand what information Networked Insights collects about consumers, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices consumers have over how their information is used.
The types of data Networked Insights collects includes, but may not be limited to, social behavior such as content posted publicly online or brands followed, and demographic, interest, geographic and other types of individual and household level data, including but not limited to the number of people in household, etc.
Networked Insights does not collect what we regard as sensitive information such as detailed financial records, credit information, medical records or Social Security numbers. We do not knowingly collect data for marketing purposes from anyone under the age of 13. Where it is possible for us to identify that someone is under 13, we remove those records from our databases. Networked Insights does not track third-party web browsing behavior or search history.
We generally do not collect consumer personal information directly from consumers for use in our products. We collect such information from publicly available sources, such as publicly available websites and social networks, and through agreements with trusted data providers. We have implemented a combination of technical, procedural and operational methods to protect against unauthorized access to our systems and to prevent data from being disclosed to unauthorized parties.
